Guestroom attendants bring the shine to each guestroom, ensuring that the very reason guests come to the property–the guestroom, is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Certification recognizes that housekeepers are skilled in every cleaning task and that they greet guests warmly and respond to their guestroom needs.

The certification is supported by the START (Skills, Tasks, and Results Training) for Guestroom Attendant. The online program presents general hospitality knowledge and soft skills needed in the hospitality industry, along with concise instructions for training new or prospective employees on how to perform 19 key tasks correctly. These include: Demonstrating how to use cleaning supplies and chemicals correctly and safely, Understanding safety and security issues for housekeepers, and Discussing ways to organize carts and work areas for maximum efficiency.

الشهادة مدعومة من قبل START (التدريب على المهارات والمهام والنتائج) لمضيف الغرف. يقدم البرنامج عبر الإنترنت المعرفة العامة بالضيافة والمهارات الشخصية اللازمة في صناعة الضيافة، إلى جانب إرشادات موجزة لتدريب الموظفين الجدد أو المحتملين على كيفية أداء 19 مهمة رئيسية بشكل صحيح. وتشمل: شرح كيفية استخدام مواد التنظيف والمواد الكيميائية بشكل صحيح وآمن، وفهم قضايا الأمن والسلامة  لخدمة الغرف، ومناقشة طرق تنظيم العربات ومناطق العمل لتحقيق أقصى قدر من الكفاءة.

Prerequisites المتطلبات الأساسية

There is no time in position requirement for this certification, making it ideal for onboarding and orientation or as professional development for current employees. Candidates should complete the START for Guestroom Attendant training to prepare for the certification exam. The training is available in an online package with certification exam for individuals.

لا يوجد وقت في المنصب المطلوب للحصول على هذه الشهادة، مما يجعلها مثالية للإعداد والتوجيه أو كتطوير مهني للموظفين الحاليين. يجب على المرشحين إكمال تدريب START  لمضيف الغرف للتحضير لامتحان الشهادة. التدريب متاح في حزمة عبر الإنترنت مع امتحان الشهادة للأفراد.

How to Apply كيفية التسجيل

The Certification package includes the Application, Study Material, and Exam in your account before completing your application.
If you have not supplied all necessary documentation to verify you qualify for the certification, an AHLEI Customer Care Representative will reach out to you asking for additional information. Please include all relevant documentation during the initial application submission. If you do not meet the certification requirements, your application will be denied and you will receive a refund.

The online program includes: يتضمن البرنامج عبر الإنترنت

• Three-month online access to START program from date of purchase
• إمكانية الدخول عبر الإنترنت إلى برنامج START لمدة ثلاثة أشهر من تاريخ تقديم الطلب
• Access to first online certification exam (retake fees apply if exam is not passed on first attempt)

Exam الاختبار

The certification exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions that must be answered within one hour. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70% to earn the CGA® designation.

يتكون اختبار الشهادة من 30 سؤالًا اختيار من متعدد يجب الإجابة عليها في غضون ساعة واحدة. يجب أن يحقق المرشحون درجة 70٪ كحد أدنى لاستحقاق تصنيف CGA®.

Successful candidates who complete the START for Guestroom Attendant online program and pass the certification exam will receive a Certified Guestroom attendant certificate and lapel pin.
